The First Field Trip on Prambanan Temple

Friday, 20th may 2016. This is the first project trip in prambanan temple, yogyakarta with my group. There are me (Ovi Dewi Utaminingrum), Ines Theresia Nggato, Tuti Noviyanti, Willy , and Fitriyani. At that time, we made a plan if we will go at 08.00 a.m. but i am forgot and woke up late hehehe.... finally we go at 10.00 a.m. but we have 3 motorcycle. After that we rent a motorcycle,we went at 10.30 a.m and we went to SPBU first. Before we went to prambanan temple, we stopped by a minimarket to by a drink, and then we went straight to prambanan temple.

We arrived at prambanan temple at 11.30 a.m and we must buy the ticket. Prices for adults is 30.000 and for the children is 15.000. in here i will tell you about the history of prambanan temple.

Once upon a time to stand up an empire in Pengging. The king has a son named Bandung Bondowoso, when an adult he became a young man and also magic. In Prambanan also stand an empire. The king named is Ratu Boko. Rato Boko have a daughter is very beautiful, her name is Roro Jongrang. The Pengging and Prambanan hostile, a war a great time.

At first the kingdom Pengging lost, then Bandung Bondowoso go to the battlefield. Pengging got it beat Prambanan. Bandung Bondowoso to kill Prabu Boko. Once inside the palace Prambanan. Bandung Bondowoso saw a Roro Jongrang, then he fall in love and wanted to marry, but Roro Jongrang refused because she didn’t want to be married by father’s killer.

Bandung Bondowoso to force Roro Jongrang to want to be married by him. Finally, Roro Jongrang want to marry in terms of Bandung Bondowoso have to make a thousand temples and two wells that are in with one night. Bandung Bondowoso ask for help to an outsider to build a temple, they are gonna work hard after sunset, quickly get the temple of the majestic.

At midnight, one temple of the yet. Roro Jongrang was surprised to see it. He sought the good grace to thwart efforts to Bandung Bondowoso. They were told to pounding paddies by beating a mortar, then a roster would crow rifles. Hear the rooster crow, these creatures to stop his work. They thought a minut till sunrise, then fail Bandung Bondowoso to set up a thounsand temples. In Bandung Bondowoso because have been deceived by Roro Jongrang in curse of roro Jongrang a statue of rock. Be Roro Jongrang statue in as Prambanan, therefore as Prambanan often also referred to the Roro Jongrang temple.

In Prambanan temple, we meet foreigner. And we started to ask him about his name, where are he from, how long he in indonesia, etc. After we met the foreigner, we go back to the campus.
